How to Choose Your Size

The most useful size guide is the chart for the product you are buying. Letter sizes and number sizes can vary between styles, so use that chart instead of assuming that every S, M or L fits the same way.

Start with the product chart

Open the size chart on the product page. Check whether the measurements refer to your body, the finished garment or foot length, and whether the units are centimetres or inches. If the chart is unclear, ask us before ordering.

Compare with an item you already wear

For garment measurements, lay a similar item flat and compare the measurements shown. Measure the same points and avoid stretching the fabric. For body measurements, keep the tape level and follow the chart instructions. A flat width is not the same measurement as a full circumference.

Consider the shape

A fitted bodice, an oversized top and a layered coat need different amounts of room. Compare bust or chest, waist, hips, shoulders and length where the product chart provides them. When choosing a coat, consider the layers you plan to wear underneath.

Check footwear size labels

Read the sizing system stated for that product. AU, UK, EU and US labels are not interchangeable, and a US size is not an Australian size. Compare foot length with the model's chart; contact us if the listing does not identify the sizing system.

Between sizes?

Use the measurements and intended fit rather than automatically sizing up or down. We can help you compare the published chart if you send the product link and the size you are considering.
